Many years ago (1990s) I went to an Ashes test match (cricket, England vs Australia). It was a hot summer that year, and there had been a ton of pitch invasions at sporting events, maybe the heat got to the British fans lol.
For the test match, the usual stewards had been bolstered by players from Salford rugby club in an attempt to stop the game being interrupted. It worked too, there was a guy who tried to run onto the pitch right in front of us carrying a life size cardboard cut out of Ginger Spice from the Spice Girls. The guy was shouting and grinning at the crowd as he ran on, one of the rugby players blindsided him and just flattened him. There was a big "Oooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhh" from the crowd as he got steamrolled.
Good times!

Short term? I'd rather be in Tua's shoes, Williams is done for the year.
Long term? Who knows, the issues surrounding repeated concussions aren't fully understood, and reconstructive knee surgery gets better by the year it seems.
