Amazing how everything fell into place for him to be the starting QB. I liked Jimmy G but it is what it is. Safety-wise atleast he's not riding the bus in a shithole like San Francisco or Oakland. The San Jose/Santa Clara area has always been one of the safest biggest metro areas in the United States...

He reads defenses as well so far in his career
Purdy is re-boot for 900K

49ers roster is the real beast, no reason to spend big on a QB

Jimmy is getting nearly 20 million nowadays, Brock does the same for pennies
