He doesn't wash them if the Chiefs are on a hot streak, but I wonder if he washes them if they contain a "hot streak"?
How a grown man can attribute his team's success or failure to whether or not he wears a specific pair of Bill Grundys is beyond me. That kind of silly superstition shouldn't be a concern to anyone over the age of ten.

I'd laugh but when I was a kid I brought a 1985 Pete Rose baseball card to my little league game. It was to settle an argument I had with one of my teammates. I told him Pete Rose had the most singles of all time and he didn't believe me. That card mentioned it on the back which is how I knew.
Anyway - after I made him look like a fucking fool and eat shit in front of the whole team - I tucked the card into my back pocket. That game I went 6 for 6. 3 singles, 2 doubles and a dinger.
I mention it now because for the next 10 years or so I didn't play a single inning of organized ball without that card in my back pocket.
