Broncos sucked after Elway hung them up after 2 straight SB wins, so they didn't make playoffs for #3 with Griese.
New England went to the playoffs after 2 straight though, so I don't think your claim is accurate sir.
You are right, I guess I got a little carried away being sarcastic, I do think this might be the best team KC has ever fielded though. Which is crazy. Really the only problem we have had is at Left Tackle.
Fair enough, I wasn't busting balls. Just interested, and didn't recall the Pats missing the playoffs so I dug into it.
Were Denver, NE, and KC the only back to back teams? I guess not, there have been 9 back to back SB winning teams. Most didn't miss the playoffs the following year, Denver was kind of the anomaly since they lost both Elway and Terrell Davis in 1999.
This is the most well rounded KC team I think. Not Sure if the best.
Defense is nice nice, Chris Jones is a +10 point player per game IMO. Coaching and talent on that D is high and they have depth to boot.
Offense is fragile but dangerous, Mahomes clutching up is the only constant. Mahomes keeps them from being bad in some games. Coaching is Elite, Andy knows more than most have forgotten. They can get their shit pushed in up front though, if refs call it close in the trenches they can be in trouble there. Mahomes can get flustered if you push right up the middle, but just edge rushers will be toasted. Tons of weapons, 6-8 super talented guys to get touches and probably some depth behind them.
