PIT and NYJ getting a little chippy at the end of the 1st half. I think it was Ramsey running his mouth. Not too surprising. An asshole playing for an asshole organization.

I put this roster mostly on their GM Chris Grier. Hes has the job since 2016 and have we ever thought that hes done a good job at drafting? He's always sucked at his job. But he's a quite guy who does not talk to the media often so most people have no idea who he is or how long he's had the job.

Their entire team is built on all speed and nothing else. That’s why they always fall apart when the weather gets cold.
 
1st Half analysis:
Orlando Brown Jr is still slower than molasses in wintertime. Dude is a liability. He's so bad it's dangerous.

He's a RT who got delusional when playing on the Baltimore line and filling in for Ronnie Stanley.

And for some insane reason, people keep paying him as a LT

I don't believe for a second McDaniel doesn't have sway regarding roster decisions. This isn't a situation where a disconnect between HC and GM is causing issues, imo.

It’s a finesse team. Everything about the team is built around speed and finesse. It’s why they fall apart to physical teams and in the cold.

Also, while they were cheating the motion plays as well at the beginning of McDaniel’s tenure

Yep. McDaniel has his querks but it's still a Shanahan system but has anyone ever seen a Shanahan system team built on all speed like this? No. The roster construction does not fit what the overall scheme of the team.

Also obviously no longer being able to use "cheat motion" hurts the effectiveness of this teams speed. I'm glad the NFL stopped that nonsense but they team was already built for this.

That and these players are soft. They care more about the life style and not playing football. I forget who it was but I think it was Javon Holland who said it after leaving the team this off season but he said they team has no culture. Thats the 3rd person to leave the team in the past few years to say they are not all nothing but bad things to say.

Miami has had this problem for a long time. Players go there for the lifestyle which ends up being counterintuitive to being good at football.

It may be a hot take, but I believe Tua only has looked good because he’s been throwing to hill and waddle, and their speed has left them wide open i a lot of instances for him to throw easy catches to. The majority of the quarterbacks in the league would look good throwing to those two.

I’ve never been impressed by Tua
