I feel like RAS score doesnt correlate to RB success very well...

Like... I dont really care about a RBs 40 time except that its fast enough they wont be getting run down from behind.

Other than that... give me someone with elite vision and the lower body strength to run through contact.
Fair points. But it is fun to watch players with elite athletic traits.

I view ras as more about meeting a threshold vs the actual score.

Like once an RB is above a 9 it does not matter after that. The difference between a 9 and a 9.5 means very little to nothing at all. The difference between 8.5 and 9 matters more.

And that's only of a player elects to do the drills. For example Bucky Irving only got a 3 something last year while you got guys in the 9s like Trey Benson/MarShawn Lloyd. Not shitting on Benson/Lloyd but Irving is the better back.

Not sure how this works out with also wanting to make Chase the highest paid non-QB in the league.

Are they just going to fill in the rest of the team with walk ons from the UFL?
They claim they still intend to sign him long term, so maybe they need to get Chase's deal done first?

Who fuckin knows. And who knows what Tee is asking either. Spending that much money on two WRs when the offensive line is so fucking terrible feels like money wasted.

Burrow wants Tee on the team - he's been public about that. But if you give Burrow time he'd pick a D apart with just about anyone who can run a reliable route.

I haven't looked at the grades - but their offensive line had to be the worst in the NFL last year. They were absolutely pathetic. Even worse than the defense as a whole. Well, mayne not that bad. But they fucking sucked.

Gonna have 3 players making almost half the teams salary or so right?
130 million or so for Burrow Chase Higgy, is that number close?
Burrow cap hit is - I think - $46. If the franchise tag sticks with Tee, that's $26. That's $72 of the allowed $279. Add another $15 for the fat fuck on skates who can't block anyone and they are at $87/279

Chase's deal will likely have a monster bonus - buy they can try to save some cap space there by making year one a smaller salary amount.

But yeah - there's a lot of money being tied up while they haven't fixed the issues that caused them to miss the playoffs last year - defense and o-line.
