Yes and no. It's true the voter base finds itself in a coalition with LGBT voters but they also are the most critical of the LGBT. The black vote originally killed the gay marriage proposition in California and they were criticized as anti-lgbt as recent as the jussie smollet hoax. Since Obama democrats have been a lose confederation of single issue voting. That's how you had anti immigration unions voting in lockstep with pro immigration voters.
