Reminds me of the shot Saban took at the Ags on College Game day about them piping in noise lol
Every place in the SEC "pipes in" music or in our case they definitely do it for the band. The crowd noise doesn't need anything added to it. If you've been there in big games you'd know. It's just different. I have friends that have been to the big house and they say it's just not the same level of noise. Makes sense how the stadiums are built though. Michigan's stadium is built wider while Kyle Field is way more upright. Then you have place like Oregon's stadium that's almost half the size of the other two but they built that place to hold in the sound. Probably the loudest bc of that. I know my ears are ringing from last night.

Going to a night game at Va Tech and A&M are on my bucket list. Both seem like they would be unforgettable experiences.

Wasn't saying it's true, just funny to see Saban take that shot pregame.

Funny enough, during the broadcast looked like Sark was crying about noise to the refs in the 4th Q.

Kyle Field seems loud on TV, loudest I've heard all year.

Agree on Michigan, I find the big house quiet in comparison to others.

Posting pics yesterday was impossible in this location but there's the view of GameDay. If you enhance the view you can see Pat and the guys. Show has gone downhill in a lot of ways but still pretty cool seeing them in person.

I've read people complain that Sanford isn't as loud as other stadiums because of how it's built. Open, doesn't trap the sound

I was at Louisville v Clemson the year Lamar won the Heisman. That was the loudest game I've ever been too and my ears rang the rest of the night. I can't imagine how loud it is as the top places when they're amped up to 100

Last night was insane. The 12th Man did their part for sure.
I watched the game on the SEC network, without announcers and the crowd cameras and mics. Always the best option when available. Just before and during kick-off that looked like the craziest environment I've ever seen. I think it would be hard to find many better than that

I could barely see him but hearing him was horrific. This shit show needs to end. Definitely some weekend at Bernie's vibes.
I wonder how much influence Herbie has on them keeping Corso on? Herbie seems extremely loyal to Lee, and I’m wondering if he’s told ESPN that as long as Corso wants to keep doing it, they need to keep him on.

Based on all of the articles I've read and the comments it seems I'm in the minority on the potential last at-large bid if it comes down to Ole Miss/Alabama/USCe
I know head to head matters, a lot. But it is just one data point out of 12. And with parity at an all-time high this season it might matter a little less than usual. I think you need to take the entire season into account, how teams are trending (isn't that one of the committee's criteria?), and the overall quality of wins v losses

Alabama has the worst losses, with Vanderbilt and Oklahoma. They barely beat USC, at home as a 22.5 point favorite. And nearly blew a 28 point lead in their biggest win over UGA

Ole Miss crushed USCe and UGA, but also lost to Kentucky. That's Kentucky's only conference win this season. And they were embarrassed by Florida. A win that helped save Napier's job.

Both of those teams have also lost a recent game and they're 4-2 in their last 6. So it goes back to the bigger picture and how teams are trending.

USCe is 6-0 in their last 6, and three of those teams are currently ranked. I believe 4 were at the time of the game but I don't put stock into that only to say that 4th was Vanderbilt, which beat Alabama. Another win during that streak was Oklahoma, which also beat Alabama. The Ole Miss loss was bad. But they nearly won at Alabama, and only lost to LSU because of a combination of the QB getting hurt and some of the most egregious reffing this season.

I know head to head matters, but I don't see the folks that argue that championing for Kentucky or Florida to be ahead of Ole Miss. It matters but team momentum matters, the type of wins and losses all season matter

I think I get Ole Miss or USC getting that potential last at-large spot. But to me Alabama is a distant third out of those three when looking at the entire season. But articles and comments online are mostly the complete opposite. They're saying if that spot exist then Alabama is the lock for it and Ole Miss is second then USCe a distant 3rd. All based strictly on H2H, it seems

^ I'll add it seems the same group that weighs H2H so heavily are also completely ignoring UGA already played Texas.

The committee was dying to get Bama in, keeping them at 13 after that loss to OU. Even at 12 teams, it’s still the TV networks and the name on the front of the jerseys that will influence who gets in.

Pat has single handily saved that show, and really, ESPN as a network.
I'm not always a fan of him but there's no doubt he's revived that show to an extent. Now if they'd finally put Corso to rest and bring back Pollack we'd be in business.
