Just make them pro's and sign them to contracts already. The 'student' athlete thing has been a fallacy for decades anyway.

Lincoln actually made an astute decision for once. Some believe there is gentleman's agreement amongst the coaches to not give him his asking price.

I watched an interview with a a former LSU football player and he said 90% of the team didn't attend class or do any schoolwork. The entire 'student athlete' thing is a charade.

To be fair, I don't think there's much value in a general 4 year degree a anyways.

I miss the days when we pretended it was real amateur student athletes not getting paid. It's like when they exposed prowrestling.
