I've been battling with this question for about a year now. I only play acoustic, but I've been really wanting an electric. I just can't decide what I want. Most of the time I've been leaning towards a Tele. But I have also researched strats, LPs, and some of the semi hollow Gibsons. I can't ever make a decision.

I've been playing mainly acoustic for the last 20 years - I'm in the same boat as I'm ready to get a new electric. I'm leaning towards Tele. Although at the latest Black Pistol Fire concert I fell in love with the sound that dude gets from his hollow bodies.

I love 335s. Those and Teles are what I go back and forth on.

Have you seen the Shawbucker Tele? I like that one quite a bit.
