Ive never had a problem with Jake Paul. I didnt know him from YT and only from boxing and he did some pretty wild shit in boxing, starching Woodly, dropping Silva for example. But he simply blew any shot he had a legitimacy very quickly. He has now become too heavy for his frame and it will cost him to drop the weight. He also has a lot of holes in his game and keeps his face open way too much.

Im sure he made even more than that. But he clearly, at least early on, wanted to be taken seriously as a boxer. Idk if its laziness or his random choice of opponents these last two years, but he basically stopped progressing, maybe even regressed.

Couple honest things I noticed.

1. Jake was too heavy for this and he couldnt fight to his full ability.
2. Jake is a mid boxer that even 30lbs lighter has shown gaping holes in his game for a man boxing this long.
3. Jake did not fight to win.
4. Tyson is an incredible athlete to even take this fight and perform for that long at his age.
5. Jake has basically nowhere to go from here.

Yeah I mean great on Tyson for going the distance. Much respect!!...But it really showed how bad the pure striking of MMA guys truly is( different sport I know). Jake paul is also a pretty below average boxer. I feel like anyone in the top 10 3-5 weight classes below him would stop him. Could you imagine a 27 year old Tyson vs Paul lol good god

The problem with legit opponents is it doesn't make as much as fighting cherry picked big names. It's a safe way to fight and make good money. He's showing you don't need a belt to cash in.
