Arresting people on their own property for a noise issue is beyond retarded but they were terrible awful morons and annoying so fuck it.

If the town had a noise ordinance I would go talk to them but beyond that, fuck it, I don't enforce town ordinances, call the town code enforcement in the morning. A little verbal judo goes a long way though to deescalate that situation. If they were assholes like them I would give a discon warning and just be like bud, turn the music down please for your neighbors. If they keep escalating then it is time to go to jail.

The only state ordinance for noise here is fireworks after 10 pm.

I think I've mentioned it before, but when I was in academy we got the class from the man himself. Wasn't even mandatory, just an offering on one of our few free evenings. Probably 2/3 of us went.
It was still pretty new at the time, unnerstan?

Mifflin Township, Ohio — On May 28, 2025, around 6:45 p.m., Mifflin Township Police Officers initiated a traffic stop near the intersection of Mecca Drive and Perdue Avenue. The passenger in the car fled the scene. When officers pursued the suspect, he turned around and opened fire, hitting both officers. Those officers were both taken to Grant Medical Center, one in critical condition. As of Thursday afternoon, that officer remains in critical condition. The other officer is expected to be discharged today. The suspect, 21-year-old Daveonte Dixon, remains at large, and investigators believe he is armed and dangerous. FCSO is asking the community to remain vigilant, and if you see Dixon, call 911 and do not approach him. Charges have been filed against Dixon for 1 count of attempted murder and 2 counts of felonious assault. The driver of the car has cooperated with investigators. At this time, he is not facing any charges.

Lately I’ve been fascinated by body cam footage of people pretending to be cops.

I’m completely baffled by these weirdos. Such an interesting combination of mental illness and dork.

usually it's people that couldn't pass the background and are working private security in public places, hospitals, malls, etc. In their mind they are a cop but, no.
