Taran Singh Brar, a documentary filmmaker and organizer, told the Washington Examiner he received his permit on Tuesday from the U.S. National Park Services after he was "slow-walked" by the agency. Brar said he kept showing up until the permit was granted and then he inflated the chicken facing it toward the White House around 10 a.m. Wednesday morning.
