Oh, that's easy. The Khabib fans definitely took that title. Khabib can fight a bear, he can lift a schoolbus, etc. People defend him as if he's their dad, which is highly comical. And all of the sudden, a legitmat path towards the belt isn't an issue anymore. It is just fine to them he has a belt. When Khalabib took that belt, the fans took over the title of most delusional fan base. Just fucking own it. You are trying to have the cake and eat it too.

I think Rogan is the primary catalyst for fighters getting over hyped.

But Khabib IMO has more substance than Rousey.

There has never been a fighter that I can think of - in boxing or in MMA - that has been over hyped as much as Rousey.

Rogan called her a "once ever athlete" and claimed she could beat half of the 135lb men's division if I remember correctly.

I am not offended...just tired of wading thru thousands of troll posts to find actual content..
