This was a throwback night. Normally beers are $6.
They had $1 Donato's Pizza slices and $1 canned beer. I saw dudes watching the game with an entire pizza on their lap (which would have been $8) and they kept going back for their 2 beer max purchase. It was a sight to behold. The promotion brought out a TON of college kids so that's always...interesting.

They also did a Teddy Bear toss promotion so there were a lot of kids there. It happened in the 2nd Period and it was one of the funniest things I've ever seen. Just a hailstorm of teddy bears from everywhere. It delayed the game for about 15 minutes while they picked them all up.

It looked to be a sellout - so probably 14,000 people there.
Good times.

That's pretty awesome. I just checked our local team's website and it looks like they have a promotion as well. They are offering $2 miller lite on Friday night home games.
