The crowd booed the fuck out of roman and chanted all he said was "this is my yard now" and mic dropped. It was perfect
Good start, we'll see, he was trending this way last year after WM, then came back to face leaning later in the year.
They showed the still highlights from Roman/Taker. They went live to the crowd chanting for Taker for a good 30 seconds to a minute. Then Roman's music hits. He's serenaded ECW style for a God's honest 10 minutes. Finally says "It's my yard now" and jets to another chorus of boos.
This time last year they were muting the crowd booing him. This year they set it up and had him drop a one liner.
I can only imagine how annoyed Roman himself is with it, he clearly doesn't want to be a heel but is forced into this giant square peg in tiny round hole Vince flip off situation.
I don't think Roman really cares. He's a professional and does what he's told. Not the first time he's been a heel.
Yeha fair, I'm just saying I'll believe it when I see it after HHH came out and vehemently defended Roman as a face and basically called the crowd morons for wanting him to be heel.
To be fair that was almost 2 years ago.
I remember reading something somewhere, where he said he didn't want to be a heel. Professional or not, everyone likes to be a hero to their kids in this role, not a hated heel.
