Heat is in my top 5 favorite movies a fucking masterpiece! Plus k lived in Tombstone when I was a kid so the movie has a special place in my heart!

I don't watch it often because it's too depressing - but he did an outstanding job with Jim Morrison in The Doors.

Other than that, he was in two of my favorite movies.

Why did he gain so much weight later in life? Did he just let himself go or was it a health condition?

As an aside - I don't really remember it as it's been a *long* time since I watched it, but I do remember movie The Salton Sea being extremely good & thinking that it was highly underrated.

First movie insane him in I think it was called Real Genius. Sort of a sci fi comedy.

Great actor. One of the best to ever do it.
