This is what I've never understood about people that want to troll forums of any kind. Most of them that I've interacted with, actually seem to be pretty intelligent people...and when they're not trolling, most tend to actually offer pretty decent content. So why not put that time and effort towards something positive? When they die 30-40-50 years from now, no one is going to come by the funeral home and say "ya know, this guy was the best internet troll that ever lived". "Greatest troll in internet history" isn't going to be engraved on anyone's tombstone.
No one is going to walk into a job interview and when asked what skills they have to offer, is going to answer with "I troll MMA forums like no one else you've ever met". Matter of fact, my guess is the people that do troll, don't tell anyone other than their friends about it, because they would be embarrassed for other people to know about it.
Example, would an internet troll be at some business dinner party where everyone is standing around talking about what they did over the weekend, and say "you all are going to love this...I trolled this MMA message board all fucking weekend. It was awesome!". I highly doubt it. So what does it accomplish? Cure boredom? Fuck, hit the gym, go for a hike, start an MMA forum, hire an escort. Fun with friends? Go to Vegas, watch a Bill Burr comedy routine, go play a sport.
