Rampage Jackson's kid Raja might have just killed a Wrestler

I normally like Mark Henry, but the heat he is getting for his take on this situation is legit. Hoping the vids I saw were edited, and he wasn't putting ALL the blame on Stu. He has his share for drinking, and trying to work with an non-worker and committing assault...but it came off as running cover for Raja and is not a good look.

Saw this earlier today and was blown the hell away. Henry often has good insights and comes across knowing the business much better than you'd think considering most of his career was rather meh aside from his Hall of Pain gimmick.

But holy hell, this take was one of the most retarded things I've ever seen.

I mean, didn't he say that Stu "broke a bottle" over Raja (didn't watch the video at the link - read it somewhere else)...where TF did he even get that from? He's the ONLY one I've seen say anything about a bottle.

Whether Stu "should" have hit Raja or not, #1 - he hit him with a fucking prop, not a legit can, #2 - he apologized after and everything seemed cool.

Raja then goaded on by that cowboy hat wearing dipshit and (from what I've read) Rampage himself calling in & calling him a bitch, goes in & proceeds to beat the shit out of a guy that A) wasn't expecting it, and B) was clearly out VERY early on in the attack.

I don't give a shit WHAT the situation is - when you're fighting someone, they get knocked cold, and you proceed to punch them in the head SEVERAL times as hard as you can, you're a legit piece of trash.

Henry better get on his horse and give the type of hardcore apology he whines Hogan never gave for defending such a vile act.

Yeah, some people say bottle, other people say prop can, other people have said normal full can of beer.

Have they not watched the video?

Looks clear to me it was a real can of beer, but it was mostly empty. Stu even lifts it and shakes-it/tilts it to the side like you normally do a mostly empty can, before smashing it over Raja's head.

And Raja is on tape saying it didn't even hurt, he just felt disrespected.

So how people are getting that twisted is beyond me, but that is why witness testimony is often suspect. You can have four people see the same thing, and come away with four different conclusions.

Pretty sure, after looking at the video several times, he didn't even hit Raja with it. Stu put his hand of Raja's head, and it looks to me like he hit the back of his hand.

Definitely a worked can shot, that's why it did no damage. If that happened to a normal wrestling fan, they'd probably try to sell it, and laugh about it afterwards, and love that they got involved at all.

But when you are man-child who has been getting disrespected by your father, and trolled by thousands online, it was apparently an act of war.

I don't care if Stu did quite literally anything short of clocking him upside the back of the head with a baseball bat when he wasn't looking.

Unless you or your loved ones are in danger, yet you respond the way Raja did - ESPECIALLY continuing to pummel the guy at 100% LONG after he's clearly out cold - you're a huge piece of shit.

And if you defend that action, you're just as big of a piece of shit as Raja is.

Looking at you here, Mark Henry.

The more I read about it, and the more I hear interview with people who were there, it seems that skinny-legged cowboy instigated every bit of this. I wonder if he's got something against StU

Somebody on reddit was claiming that they both worked at the same ranch, and had prior beef, but he insisted that wasn't the case and that he considered Stu a brother as they were both cowboys, wrestlers and vets.

So nothing confirmed from anybody credible, and carny-wrestlers are rarely considered credible without corroboration.

This is what I’ve learned in life as I’ve gotten older. You never know what someone’s mentality is. Always show respect and understanding. I use to be a hot head and wanted to fight anyone that just cut me off in traffic.

Now I just let it go because you don’t know what that person is going through. I remember reading that story of the dude that purposely looked to cut people off in traffic so he could have a reason to shoot at you.

I think he was the same dude that shot former NFL player Joe McKnight.

I’m not excusing Raja’s behavior, just coming from a family with a handful of people with mental health issues. You just need to be careful with how you speak, and act around others.

He said he has got his back after the ambush stunt
He certainly didn't, was he even one of the guys that jumped in the ring to stop out of control raja

That guy does bear some responsibility if that was the only communication about the in ring ambush stuff

He claimed in his rage-fest interview (granted dude lost his day job already), that he was instructed by Reno Anoa'i to instruct Raja what to do. And then he unwisely used wrestling terminology that Raja clearly didn't understand the context of.

Then he says he was pulled off the angle later, again by the promoter Reno, and thus wasn't even in the building when shit went down. He was apparently outside getting ready to leave, which is why I believe (but cannot confirm), that he's the guy that calls Raja and says, "I just saw the video" and "you didn't have do all that" and like a psycho Raja just says "my bad."

He explains in the interview that "the receipt" is just one potato, one solid shot to make things even. But he obviously didn't explain it like that to Raja, he just said to give him his receipt, and tag him, and he'll back him if anybody is upset about that. Huge mistake obviously. But he tried to explain that he was "in character" for that stuff, for the benefit of Raja's Kick stream, and even that is a dumb excuse.

He then claims that after he was taken off the spot, a producer told Raja to not just do one shot, but to go at the guy until they pull him off of him. Producer probably meant working punches, not real ones, but again, everybody treating Raja like he is smarter to the industry than he really is.

Apparently everybody is treating Raja as if he is a worker, and knows the extent of what they want him to do, not knowing he's an idiot who has 12-year-olds and his father riling him up for over an hour leading up to this.

And the promotion clearly thought something might go bad, because pink-haired dude was told to keep an eye on things even though it wasn't his match, because he was the only other "shooter" aka "guy who knows how to really fight" that was present. Proving they knew it was a bad idea and still did it anyways either to cover their own asses and claim the beer can was also planned, or just to take advantage of free Kick stream promotion, and a minor celebrity's family member being involved.

So IMO Reno, AJ Mana, and any producers or other wrestlers involved with this fucked up majorly, and that whole promotion is a shitshow and needs to be shut down. Just irresponsible shit everywhere, and now everybody is pointing fingers and deflecting blame.

But the list of what went wrong was extensive IMO:
--Raja shouldn't be out suffering from post-concussion shit (not an excuse, just yet another contributing factor).
--There shouldn't have been drinking before the matches.
--Stu should only try to "work" with people who agree to work with him, not going into business for himself just because he sees a camera, and he did seem a little drunk, and probably should have been sent home at that point.
--Reno should never have thought it wise to make an angle out of this. Carnies do that all the time when shit goes down with the boys, blur reality and fantasy, but Raja wasn't a fucking worker, and is an obvious hot-head.
--AJ and any producers explaining shit to Raja should've stressed exactly what they expected him to do, and any talk of "receipt" was dumb as hell. But that's besides the point, he never should have been involved with a run-in angle in the first place, he's not a worker, and never been trained in pro wrasslin'.
--Raja shouldn't have let his dad and chat rile him up to commit premeditated felonius assault
--Kick streams are internet cancer
--Holy fuck still working and pinning Stu for a 3 count while he's choking on his own blood and teeth in the ring was some ghoulish bullshit as well

So yeah, lots of blame to go around, but most of it is nevertheless on Raja since he's the guy who decided to punch an unconscious dude 20+ times.

Everybody else can be blamed for the situation being a total clusterfuck, but Raja is the only one who can be blamed for his own actions.

I had never even heard of Raja until a couple days before the incident when some footage of him getting rocked with a head kick during what was supposed to be light sparring was released.

Its very fucked up
Raja was out of control, deserves months or years IMO
The set up was beyond negligent by all involved, somebody in that also needs to sit out for awhile IMO.

I haven't even watched the pinning thing and don't know if I will, sounds about par for the course. Was a total 100% shitshow.

When you blur the line between fighting and staged fighting some crazy shit happens, it gets crazy in a hurry as we know.

Had barely heard of him myself
Rampage had mentioned he was a vegetarian on a Jaxxon Podcast once or twice
