Seems like he back peddled and made up an excuse after a shit storm blew in. Maybe I’m wrong.

Very possible.

But it was a small shit storm. Enough to get forums talking maybe but only 33 replies currently on that initial post. 12 hours later he posted that follow up.


If you're in the business of giving the benefit of the doubt then there was a Cowboys game on and the backup does suck in comparison to NFL level starters so it's plausible.

I like a lot of what Rashad says but this doesn't make sense. Pro-athletes depend on the public's opinion of their abilities and performances.
