I remember being a little bastard and walking through the living room at my dad's when this commercial came on.

Froze me in my tracks. I didn't know what I was looking at or that it would consume the rest of my childhood, but I knew I had to see this fucking movie and I would not stfu about it for at least a week until my dad took me and my step brother to see it.

I was younger, only 2, slept through half of it.
But remember the Deathstar blowing up.

I was 7, the exact right age.

Obviously it became this giant phenomenon and for the next 2 summers they always had it playing at the drive in. Just over and over.

My mom was always down for the drive in cause you could bring your own shit and she could sit 8n the station wagon and smoke pot or other things.
So I never cared what movie she wanted to see because if it sucked I could just go watch star wars.
Probably saw it 50 times, sometimes twice the same night.

Ah, the age of adolescence, perfect for brainwashing.

Last night I was watching something on youtube and the next video to come up was a free movie. It was called "Yesterday". I remember seeing a commercial for it back when it was out, but it didn't compel me to see it. I'd give it around a 7, maybe a bit higher I enjoyed it. It's about a struggling musician that ends up in a timeline where the Beatles no longer exist so he just starts doing all their songs as his own.

I have been looking forward to watching that
