The first season was cool because it had the ET misfit kids vibe, only watched the first episode of season 2. Should have been left as a one seasoner.

I might be wrong with season 2, I liked the first one probably more nostalgia and school camaraderie. It was warm and fuzzy.
People praise it because it's a great show but 80's kids can at least appreciate the attention to detail of that era.
