It still pisses me off that rock beat Hogan at wm18. He didnt need it and he would end up beating hogan again anyways at no way out 2003.
Hogan winning would have made 95% of the audience absurdly happy that night and really would have given further juice to that hogan run and just further cement hogan as the wwf's number 1 icon. There was more to gain from hogan winning than rock winning.

Sometimes I don't get what Vice is thinking. Like trying to make Roman Reigns break Hulk's records. Reigns? Really? The guy used to get booed mercilessly when he was supposed to be the face.

I get Rock beating Hogan. Hogan was (supposedly lol) at the end of his career and it was a way trying to put him over as *the* guy. Had Hogan won, there'd be just as many people complaining today that he played his politics game to put himself over like he pretty much always did.

Roman breaking the records was (at least IMO) an attempt to both push Hogan down the importance scale, as well as try to cover up the several years and multiple title runs he had as a forced babyface when quite literally NOBODY except Vince wanted him. By making his huge heel run "legendary", it'd overshadow (and hopefully make people forget) about his utterly dreadful earlier singles career.

It’s great….not holding much back
Dirt sheets and rumors saying some of the stuff was staged for the Netflix camera, like Charlotte's round of applause from the women's lockeroom...they were asked to do that for the cameras, not required, but asked, etc.

Either a Cody heel turn, or a Seth cash in is the only thing that makes sense with the Cena promo face-turn...unless he's blowing smoke up our asses.

Speaking of LA Knight - here's Jacob Fatu showing him (among others) a bunch of gratitude:

Jacob Fatu praises the WWE roster for doing business with him and helped him so far, highlighting LA Knight & Braun Strowman:

“I'm not going to sit here and act like I got here all by myself. Like, I'm going to keep it 100. Shout out to everybody who I've worked at WWE, you know

DIY, Johnny Gargano, Street Profits, Tommaso, you know, Cody, Randy, KO, big Roman.

LA Knight, man, the whole roster at WWE, shout out to him though, you know, for doing business, for looking out, for helping me.

For Braun, Big Braun. You know what I mean? Strowman, man, looked out. And bro, he don't take nothing from nobody. He’s about his business and he know what he's talking about. But man, it took a monster to build another monster. You know what I mean?

And II'm not taking none of this for granted. I'm very thankful for all my coworkers who I work with.”
