@Check itI don't think we have that different strains from yours, and anyway, our main supplier is a lovely girl from Poland. And I say 'our' since it is a social thing for me, I never smoke alone, that's a rule for me. Mostly the same buddies of course, but not always.

Massive lay offs, real estate is down, unemployment up, office vacancies in downtown rising quickly, oil companies on the verge of filing for bankruptcy. The whole economy in this part of the country is directly tied into Oil and Natural gas. Nothing too much going on other than that.

Well first of all, I have family who sit on the boards at several companies that do that... so, no.
The price has gone down because the Saudi's were pissed that they were losing market share as new sources of fuel became viable (especially in the United States) due to high cost of a barrel. They have one advantage on countries such as Russia, Canada and the United States, their drilling cost is the lowest in the world (About 60 cents a barrels as opposed to 18-19 for a typical Canadian bitumen operation). They are also upset that Shiite Iran is back on the scene. So they flooded the market to bring the price down and drive out their more expensive competitors.
Also we had a terrorizer try to shoot up parliament but he failed. So not so awesome. Fuck yea
