I have been doing some math and predict we will overtake the old thread inside of 5 weeks.

Provided none of you go banzai and screw it up I think we can lay the old thread to rest and resume chit chat as usual. (Minus the terrible behavior, I guess)

I posted this on another thread on this topic and am reposting here.

Something I want to quickly say about the former MMA Community Chit Chat thread:

The insults and invective were never a good idea imo, but an even worse idea was confining random thoughts to one thread. Random thoughts are what make an Off Topic board. Putting them on one thread means they're less searchable for when new members join and more insular for present members who may be avoiding a megathread due to the deluge of notifications.

More threads makes for a better experience. Please consider spreading the content of this thread beyond such a small space.

stop chatblocking. Trying to get this to a million in 5 weeks. People did math..its going to happen. Posters know how to disable the notifications. At least I hope so. Right?
