So right by where I catch the bus is an Aussie pub. It's a bit wank but it's cheap. I usually stop in for a pint or two after work for the past 8 months or so. It's nothing special. Food tastes like baboon shit but whatever.
For some reason when I was just at the bar I was minding my own business and suddenly I got a weird feeling like I was being watched. It's not busy. Then finally it dawned upon me.

My old high school is facing off against one of our rivals in the football playoffs. I'm meeting a friend at a bar that's in "enemy" territory. The game will be on TV. I'm wearing my school's gear and I fully anticipate some dumbass to start shit with me after he's sucked down enough courage.
Cincy doesn't fuck around when it comes to their high school football. Should be fun.
To make matters worse - I fully anticipate my team losing by 30 points which will piss me right the fuck off anyway. Any slack-jawed a-hole starts any static with me I'll rage back to my high school days and feed him some of his own chiclets.
