I like listening to Schaub and Rogan as much as the next person sometimes their insight isnt anymore informative than a couple of bros at a sports bar.

Not a doctor but I think the term concussion is carefully defined to cover the effects of there being some type of blow to the head, where some measurable loss of function occurs..so in that case, that may be entirely subjective to Conor's feelings about it. He certainly took damage, he lost balance multiple times, but who knows if he was medically concussed or exhausted and just broke completely? No idea, but I do believe it not the best for him to fight again July, him starting training is alright though (especially from what I hear for SBG they do drills more than spar, and they don't do full contact iirc).

I reckon he was concussed, that wobbling is his brain going out of whack.

Joe Rogan had clearly been given a UFC team talk by either Dana (most likely) or Lorenzo prior to this week's podcasts. He suddenly went from being very concerned about the long term effects of head trauma to proclaiming that Conor was fit as a fiddle and ready for another big payday at UFC 200. One day he's warning parents about kid's soccer, the next he's discounting the reason why Conor shot for a double leg on a Cesar Gracie blackbelt.

The priming is so obvious.

I understand that we're very concussion-sensitive now a days, and rightfully so, but this is just ridiculous. He took a good punch and got wobbled. Big fuckin deal

It is essentially impossible to diagnose a concussion based on watching a fight (other than when the fighter is KO'd). The ringside physician and the commission have the ability to suspend a fighter for a period of time if they feel that the fighter endured excessive head trauma, or if they have evidence of concussion on their post fight evaluation.

I told you before he understands boxing better than Schaub.
He understands how handsome men are in his eyes, he got hammered by them around the 1 hour 2 minute mark. 1 hour 8 minute mark is where Shaub solidifies himself as my friend.

I listened and would like to follow this up by giving a summary of what he came up with:
He figures, after watching the Diaz fight, fighters should just train to avoid Conor's big left hand and try to take him down and either ground and pound him or submit him, he is a beacon of light in a very dark world. LOL Callum, keep em comin........
