Look, it's subjective. But Dana's own mother despises him, which is about as objectively low as you can get though. There are pedos and rapists in prison whose mothers still visit them every week.

Vince is more crazy, whereas Dana is just scum and we at least know from stories of Vince's childhood the likely causes of his pathology. Vince is a genuinely brilliant intellect and Dana simply isn't - maybe that doesn't make him 'better' but it sure makes him more interesting. I wouldn't work for either of them, but I sure as shit would rather have a beer with Vince.
Have you actually read Dana's mom's account of him? She came off like Livia Soprano. June White is not an objective source. In her biography she called him an ugly baby and said he reminded her of the film Rosemary's Baby. It's possible he was an ugly baby because she didn't realize she was pregnant for six months and didn't gain weight during that time. She also called him a lazy teenager since he didn't get a job while still in high school, and was confused when he got upset when she talked smack about him in an interview from the hospital while he was paying for her cancer treatment. And this was just from the excerpts that were publicly available. She managed the pretty impressive feat of making me feel sorry for him, and it's kind of amazing Dana White came out as well-adjusted as he did. So no, mothers are not the end-all-be-all of objective moral judgement, some mom's are objectively pretty fucking horrible.

As for Vince's childhood, to the best of my understanding he grew up in a rich family with a demanding dad. I was a wrestling nerd for a solid decade at one point and never came across much more than that as far as his upbringing. If you have any stories about him that make his pathology interesting, I'd legit be curious to hear them though.

Actually ...
He grew up poor without his Dad & was sexually molested as a child & beaten by his step-dad.
Vince hinted his Mom was the sexual abuser:
“Interviewer: We can leave that topic, but one last thing first. You said that the sexual abuse in your childhood “wasn’t from the male”. It’s well-known that you’re estranged from your mother. Have we found the reason?
Vince: [Pauses, nods] Without saying that, I’d say that’s pretty close”
He was born in NC & that "white trash" lifestyle he grew up in, is a major reason he is not a fan of "southern" things.

He was not really part of Vince Sr.s life until he was an adult

He really isn't.

He might be more honest and disciplined but he's a pretty awful human being. I realize Dana White is no angel, but still. For instance, Vince going to elaborate lengths to make fun of Jim Ross's colon cancer was pretty fucked up, as one example among dozens. Saddling Adrian Adonis as a gay stereotype florist as retalliation for Adonis starting union talks, firing CM Punk on his wedding day, those things were also pretty fucked up. I'd probably have more examples if I weren't typing this up at 5 AM while passing out and trying to think of things off the top of my head.

To be fair there's also been far sleazier promoters than Vince McMahon if you know too much about the indy scene, but that's more a condemnation of wrestling as a whole than saying anything good about Vince.
How about what he made his wrestlers do, and the lengths they have to go to, to get "over". Like you mentioned ruining careers or trying too over stupid shit. They tried to ruin Dustys career by putting him in an outfit with yellow polka dots but it backfired when people didnt care and loved him anyway. So many examples of Vince being a piece of shit im not sure there is enough time to go into it. Dana has only been a piece of shit for a few years, Vince has been one for about 20 plus.
