I couldn’t watch yet, just clips on the web.

Did anything happen during McIntyre’s time in that was off? Read he got pissed off about something and left the arena as soon as he was eliminated.

Drew was eliminated by Priest, which seemed weird considering not only do Drew & Priest have no storyline connection (they're not even on the same show, anymore), but everyone Drew does have storyline connection to - Seth, Roman, Punk, etc - were all still in the match.

Apparently he was pissed about some rumble spots being orchestrated just so "some people could get their moves in" and he wasn't the only one that felt that way backstage.

Then again, the same dirt sheets saying this stuff are the same ones saying he was legit pissed at Punk coming back last year (which turned into a huge angle that lasted a good chunk of the eyar) and have been saying for months that Alexa Bliss wasn't coming back, either.

So who knows.

Personally, I'm extremely meh on this rumble.

Charlotte wins in her first match back because of course she did.

Jey winning was a huge swerve and yeah he's over, but the guy just doesn't do it for me. "Yeet" is dumb AF and honestly, Gunther is right when he says Jey is "really good tag team wrestler". The dude does a million superkicks and none of them look convincing. He's the latest guy to adopt the spear as a finisher and he's the worst at it. Him & Jimmy built up to this huge blood feud match last year that was a complete stinker and arguably the worst match all of Mania weekend.

Now we're gonna have the Jey / Gunther story for another 2+ months, which is probably gonna just be Gunther/Sami 2 Mania Boogaloo in that Gunther will continually get over on Jey, Jey will be the huge underdog, and have his "Rocky" type moment finally beating Gunther for the belt.

And good grief Jey is *not* a guy to be a main event champ.

Speaking of being the "latest person to adopt a finisher" (or move), I feel sorry for anyone that played the drinking game of take a shot every time someone does a kip up in the women's rumble. lmao holy shit I think Piper Niven was the only one to not attempt one. lol

This is my biggest gripe about the Rumble and has been for many years. It's just one wrestler after another coming in, getting their moves in, laying out 5 or 6 guys, and then rinse and repeat for an hour and a half.

It's the WWE's version of the participation trophy. Everyone has to have their moment or you'll hear about it from seven butthurt midcarders in the dirtsheets.

Look on Drew's/Priest's face when he went out was priceless. Priest doesn't look happy at all, his jaw is clenched and looked frustrated, so think it might have been a botch due to collision with LA Knight and Logan Paul doing a spot right next to them.

So rumors are Logan is the one with the heat, as his flexing and such delayed Knight's attack on him and they were still in the middle of the ring when they did the Drew/Priest spot.

Drew being surprised and outraged makes sense in the moment, but Priest showing no joy or celebration over an elemination was odd to say the least.

Yeah, I figured it was him...which isn't surprising. I mean, did he put anyone over in the match at all?

I'm just glad he didn't fucking win. With some of the rumors that it was gonna be him & Gunther, then them quasi setting up that angle on Raw, I was legit worried for a minute.

Yeah, looks like Paul got carried away and botched the portion of Drew’s elimination.

Whoever that YouTuber was in the match may be dead. Bron went old school kill a bitch on that guy. You don’t need to sell when someone legit destroys you.

Except Punk, surprisingly.

He got nothing as the entire time between his entrance and Seth's was spent in the three way staredown of Roman/Punk/Cena.

Roman is apparently the one that pushed hard for Solo's push backstage, which backfired tremendously.

Wonder if he's not the one pushing Jey to get this shit now, too.

Apparently as of Friday, Shotzi was in Alexa Bliss's spot, but they got the contract done at 5am Saturday morning, and Bliss was in.

Speaking of Charlotte...

Not surprised at all.

I think a lot of wrestlers meet on the road and only when one/both are off do they spend real time together. Most any couple can make a relationship work 2 days a week. Charlotte and Andrade give off a toxic vibe as individuals to me. 🚩🚩🚩🚩

Andrade is on Smackdown, so wondering if this is bad enough where they'll put Charlotte on Raw (makes sense cuz Netflix wants the names), of if they put her on Smackdown and Andrade ends up in the transfer portal.

Or who knows, could be one of those friendly divorces where they still cool, just don't want to fuck no more. /shrug

Strength coach Jason Ferruggia has a pretty popular podcast (or at least used to - dunno if it still is or not).

Several years ago, he was trying to get it going on youtube as well as audio only format, and he did a few in-person interviews. One of them was with Charlotte Flair.

Her entire demeanor, presentation, how she carried herself, how she spoke, and more was the absolute polar opposite of everything we've ever seen of her on tv. She was shy, quiet, and almst seemed uncomfortable to be talking on camera & such.

I realize everyone is a character on tv, but seeing how massively different she was here compared to her persona was borderline jarring.

Now the dirtsheets saying the heat is on LA Knight, and not Paul, for the Drew/Priest botch. Drew was supposed to last longer in the Rumble apparently, and not go all the way over, and they blame Knight for "errant movement" and not Paul for taking too long to turn around so Knight could get him.

When I watched again it looked like it went exactly how it was supposed to go. McIntyre threw himself fully up and over the top rope. There was a 2nd push from Priest while he was vertical, but even without that he was already well on his way out.
