my view, no it fucking shouldn't and Joe has a stupid opinion. they have done enough to openly support Jon and there's nothing to gain from this, other than benefiting him (and stealing a hard fought win from Matt lol)
but more importantly, the concept of fucking rules in sport. you agree the rules, then play. if someone, a decade later, thinks the rules you agreed to compete under were silly, that doesn't mean shit.
plus the 12-6 rule hasn't even been overturned. the rule about sticking your fingers out to gauge distance and put your opponents eyes at risk HAS been overturned, because it provides a dirty unfair advantage.
needless to say, Jones benefited most from when there was no fingers rule, and it was brought in, pretty much, to stop him from doing it.
