Silverback Gorilla fight

I came to the conclusion that I would have a serious issue if I ran into a silverback.....
I was 10 feet from one in Disney world and I looked at his arms and thought "he's jacked, his arms are the size of my torso and I would be fucked"..........
My brother said "you thought it was possible to take one on, are you as dumb as we all thought?"

No. Not possible for any man. From my extensive study on animal fights (LOL) apes are considered to be around twice as strong as a human p4p, due to certain physical traits (insertion points, specific musculature etc). So a 400lb gorilla would be as strong as an 800lb athletic human. That's obviously crazy and that is what you are dealing with when you talk about fighting a gorilla - craziness. These 300-400lb apes can pull themselves around with one arm. Their strength is off the charts.

On top of that, they are very fast, have HUGE teeth and are effectively wearing a crash helmet. WTF could lesnar do to that?

Ha ha!! You sound like my cousin who is 6'1, about 245 lbs and tough as fuck, who thinks he can take just about any UFC fighter in a 3 minute fight! When you here him talk about it (especially after a few beers and a couple of bumps) you are convinced that he is absolutely convinced. He's more like my brother than my cousin as his mother took good care of me when I was young and I lived with them on and off. Anyhow, I always find it admirable, and at the very least I am reassured by his confidence when trouble comes our way from non UFC fighters, lol!

Lets just say, I would rather have someone beside me who believes he can take a silverback than someone who doesn't when the shit hits the fan!

Yes, exactly! Just like how I drag my fat cousin Jody along when I go for a hike into the mountains just in case a grizzly appears out of nowhere. Not only is she going to allow me a tremendous headstart, the meat on her bones will keep him busy for hours. Needless to say, the hikes themselves are short and near the switchback due to her limitations.

Ape strength over humans has been overstated for a long time. They're stronger, there's no doubt, but it's only around 2x.
