How about when Taproot first came onto the scene and they were managed by Fred Durst. They sounded almost identical!
fuck was that ever a terrible song too.

For comparison, here's what Taproot turned into. They're another band that I always stuck with for no good reason.

I saw filter 3 times on that album's tour. they opened for Ozzy on 2 of the nights I saw them.
man, I Mother Earth was such an incredible band. simply incredible, one of my favorite bands to this day.
I say was because I dont like anything they did without Edwin. its garbage. but Dig and Another Sunday are brilliant.

I fucking love that album. That song and the next one on their album Blue Sky Research helped pull me through some tough thoughts.

You def picked a winner, but this is my all-time favorite. Had it on VHS and watched it at least 500 times with my friends. It's literally all we did. Skate. Come home. Put on Modus Operandi. Smoke weed. Life was good back then.
