Listen, I hate sex offenders as much as the next guy, but I don't think any commission would sanction a judoka vs. a director.
1. Lifetime ban means they can't give him fights.
2. If he had kept his mouth shut maybe they would have released him from his worthless contract but as it is they owe him no favors now. In fact, he will owe them after they finish up suing his ass for libel.
So what you're saying is that they can hold him from making a living in his chosen profession, yet as an independant contractor he cannot walk away from it? They can give him fights in any place outside of the US, IE japan or Brazil but WONT, like I said, give him a fight there. Gotcha thanks for clearing that up.
Yep. He signed a contract stating he would fight however many times for the UFC. He cannot meet that contractual obligation because he has been banned for life from fighting. Wand burnt all his bridges when he accused the UFC of fixing fights.
And that means literally nothing. In areas where there are no commissions they can book him fights, but refuse to do so. So again, they are preventing him from making a living in his chosen profession by holding on to the contract that is useless on both sides.
So what.
Do you not understand the fact they are preventing Wand from making a living in his chosen profession? I'd love to see a labor lawyer look over this and the contracts. Zuffa started this with Wand, not the other way around.

Wand doesn't need to fight anymore. He's old and without the PEDs he would get hurt badly. The UFC is looking out for Wand's health.
Says who? You? Uncle Dana who's job it is to be the hatchetman for Lorenzo/Frank? He could beat the fuck out of cans in Japan under Rizin the rest of his career, but he's being prevented from that.
Wand had a nice career but it's over. He should focus on the current lawsuit against him and then go into teaching mma, although I don't think he's a very good role model for young athletes with impressionable minds. It could be lucrative for him financially.
