with preshow dazed and confused stoner

This show outshone UFC big time at the time. Still one of my all time favorites, if not my favorite promotion, very influential with the usage of gloves, weight classes, even matchups etc. #s 1, 3 and 4 are all top notch, but #4 was always hard to find in stores for some reason. #2 at the Six Nations reserve was a disaster with many fighters not arriving, others going to jail, a real mess. The Quebec police, which had very bad relations with the Mohawk nation (this was a few years after the Oka crisis) had declared that they would shut it down, well it went ahead, but with a pretty bad card.

The fallout from the event was bad press across Canada and the banning of all live NHB/MMA broadcasts, ppv or otherwise, cable or satellite, which lasted from '96 until late '98. AS I said, the Canadian ban, which began and ended before the US partial ban, included satellite, as well as cable, while the US only lost the cable broadcasts, which meant UFC couldn't compete for top talent with the Japanese, but could still go on producing events. I was such a hard core fan back then I actually installed Dish Network in my grandfather's cottage in Birch Bay Washington, just across the border from Vancouver and my friends and I would head down for mma/boxing ppv's. Good times!

That is an awesome story Mega! Being an MMA fan was a lot of work, and a pain in the ass, in the 90's lol.

Gary Albright,Yoshihiro Takayama,Nobuhiko Takada,Kazou Yamazaki,Gene Lydick, et al. Compilation show from various earlier events.
This is the organization that produced Kazushi Sakuraba (the Gracie Hunter), Takada (the Gracie Victim), Takayama (of Don Frye fame), Tamura (win over Renzo Gracie) and Yoji Anjo (Rickson Gracie vicious beating fame) and was the catalyst for Pride FC. Karl Gotch,Lou Thesz,Dan Hodge and Billy Robinson were affiliated at different times with the uwfi and the previous uwf. This is strong "shoot" style pro wrestling

I have a tape from Jeff(HnS), called Fight world Uncensored. Pele was pissed as fuck backstage after his fight wit Menne. He was going nuts pacing all over yellin when he spotted Montes guys. It ended up with him being restrained yelling at Matt Hughes in bad English, "You Shit!,You Shit.." As we all know they later met in Kuwait and Pele knocked Hughes the fuck out.

I think I've now watched all of de braco's epic uploads except SB 1.

Turning that on right now. de braco is a fucking hero

The first man to ever put EF4 online in full. A show wanted to see for almost 10 years and NO ONE had it not even Pro Ice.

Thanks again for taking the time to convert all these from tapes man. I know that's not easy
