The apology letter was gold
It wasn't already banned?
There was also the NBA owner(s & players?) apologizing to China.
Just wondering - since when did 'Murica become China's bitch?
Well, except for the whole trillions in debt thing, and the 'failing' "trade wars are easy thing"...
south park is back to its funny form mexican joker episode was also really good. crimson dawn and randy choking winnie the pooh like no country for old men was very funny.
the broflovskis getting arrested by ICE is one of the funniest moments in the shows history
the episode pretty much lays it out for you how that ended up happening corporations pander to china for monetary gain and in return china ended up dictating how those corporations which also own our politicians do things to please china.
lol at these nba memes IMO this is worse than the uproar and histrionics over Colin kaepernick. they bent over for the entire nation of china.
Yeah, real edgy stuff. It's not so much low hanging fruit as it is picking it up off the ground.
This shit is now getting out of control. Adam Silver was forced to publicly support Moret's right to "freedom of expression" and now the two NBA preseason games being played in China won't be broadcast on state TV any more.
It's funny seeing Silver and the NBA play the balancing act between public outrage at home and government outrage from their second-largest and ever-expanding market.
They got lucky as it’s the lowest level of humour.......akin to those dodo momo’s, practical jokers, maybe it’s impractical jokers?
Either way, neither are funny......at all
Their episode named "Band in China" got them banned in China. I bet they were counting down the seconds until that news came in after releasing the episode. South Park is the one of the only comedy shows with balls that is still on television.

Apple pulls police-tracking app used by Hong Kong protesters after consulting authorities
The corporate technocratic big brother is upon us
Not the first time something like this has happened. Both Google and Apple bow to the Chinese authorities every single time
Well Google once stopped working on that dragonfly project because of the growing discontent within it's employees. And the bad pr the whole affair was giving them.
CCP authorities were displeased and closed Google's office in China.
You can rest assured that if Google hadn't been caught they would have gone through with that internet censorship program.
I don't like Marxism in any way but Marx was right when he said that the capitalist would sell the rope that would hang him. Silicon valley? Wall Street? Yep.
The CCP never reformed as was taunted by the Clinton's and mass media when they let China in the wto in the 90s. I remember clearly that's what was sold to the public when people complained that we were letting in an authoritarian borderline genocidal regime (Tibet). No they would change they said.
A monster has been created.
A monster with a massive surveillance apparatus the stasi and kgb would have had wet dreams about.
Opaque economy whose numbers are made up.
A government with leaders for life.
A government allowing fentanyl factories to ship their drugs to their'trading partners' (Canada and the USA).
All in the name of trade and economic opportunities.
Okay.... this is getting a tad out of hand.
Kind of got to admire China's moxy, though. They will become our overlords soon enough.
After China Objects, Apple Removes App Used By Hong Kong Protesters
if they can slap around apple like that they can pretty much takeover amazon too.
Jeff Bezos is a rich idiot that cheated on his wife and divorced her after 25 years to send these terrible messages to another married woman...
China could send some women of lower social responsibility his way and have Amazon sponsoring an invasion of HK or Taiwan inside of a month.
