Shyne Poe was a bad mother fucker. His first album was nice. I agree, his second was not the same. I thought he recorded that one while he was in jail on some type or work release or something. Either way, he was never able to capture the same fire again. I blame that fuck P Diddy.

I think the 2nd album was recorded right before jail, I'm not 100% sure. Godfather Buried Alive you mean? It may have had some tracks done in jail but I do think it was recorded before he went in, and just came out later on. I could be wrong though. I wasn't into that record as much. But word, his first record. God damn.

I love that shit, still listen to it regularly. People gave him shit for kinda having a similar voice and flow as BIG but personally that just made it better to me. It was different enough to me and I thought he was sick and had some real unorthodox rhymes and didn't really sound like anyone else.

Seriously though Commission is one of the definitive mafioso rap songs. The chorus is so perfect. Everything about it.

SO EPIC. That record was hard as fuck. I try to get into new hiphop shit but it just isnt the same. Like even the new Game record, it's sick, the new Dre album I LOVED, but none of that shit gives me the feeling of that stripped down early/mid/late 90s New York shit. Everything now in 2015 sounds too futuristic and computer-y to me. I love the old school stripped down mid 90s gangster shit. Just doesn't get any better IMO

Wow that's really funny you posted that up. I found Dead Can Dance because of this song too! I always wondered if it was actually about him (as in the legendary rapper Rakim, as a sort of tribute to an all time great lyricist) and the lyrics almost seemed to allude to that. But after researching, apparently it is not.

Dead Can Dance is a really cool group IMO. Not one I can listen to 24/7, but they have some really great work that is unlike most other projects out there. Here is another really cool song by them if you dig their sound. If you like the song posted above (the one with Rakim in the title) you might dig this too

Thanks for posting that because it's been years since I heard these guys and I am about to play this album right now.

It was around 3/4am when I viewed this and my old mark 1 eyeballs don't work as well as they used too .

I suspect he was tazered because he took his shirt off and was shown signs of aggression. If he had stayed with the crowd and remained "chilled" police would have spoken to him then let him go.

What kind of retard runs up on a group of like 5 dudes with his hands down saying "come on boy!"... What did he expect to happen? Did he think they were gonna push each other back and forth? lol. For those who have no idea WTF this is or why, this guy Stitches is a viral rapper/joke who started a "beef" with the Game, as a publicity stunt. Threatened him and his kids and all other types of retarded shit in instagram videos.

Game basically laughed it off, and rightfully so. Fast forward to last night, the Game is in Miami where stitches currently lives. Game was inside this club. Stitches then spent like 2 hours prior to that circling around the club posting dozens of instagram videos in front of Game's truck claiming he was ready to fight/shoot at him/whatever the fuck else.

Then when all the cops are around, he runs up on Game's crew, with his hands down, threatening them. Apparently, he thought nothing was going to happen - why exactly? Because there are cops around? Well, he got dropped and rightfully so. It's not like he got sucker punched, he approached them in that manner for a reason. And all it took was one short ass dude to one shot him and his fat drugged out ass dropped to the concrete like a sack of bricks.

If this were any other sitaution, after he got dropped, he probably would have been stomped into a vegetative state and had some serious brain damage. Instead he got away with just getting humiliated because seemingly the entire police force was surrounding the area, and that's when he tried to get tough. Well, he wanted to be tough and he paid for it.
