i was thinking about a second hand laptop with HDMI connection and ethernet??

at the moment i solved the xbox error so i can use the youtube and inet explorer app, lets see how far this takes me

thats what i had with my old tv, an older laptop with an S cable. Use the audio from the laptop to watch something on the TV.

That way its in one room. Since the monitor and tv are 45 feet apart, are they in 2 different room or is this one larger room? because if its 2 different rooms you will have to keep running in between rooms to click stuff.

If you have a laptop near the tv, you could sit on the couch and click from there and it would show up on the tv right away.
