Yea, that's just the frustration in me. I sometimes think we shouldn't get to have a sport as much as we hate the participants....rightly or wrongly.

Might just be our scummy human nature. I see the same thing with basketball, football, soccer, the only appreciative genteel fans are golf and tennis.. Maybe. I'm not sure because they tend to be boring as fuck with no passion nor a lust for humor.
I don't mean this board necessarily....I'm just being general about the state of MMA fans.
I hear ya. That's just the nature of internet forums though. And that's why it's so important to keep the sense of self-regulated community around here. A forum is only as good as its userbase. Quality over quantity.
That said, there's no way in hell Jones doesn't come back to fight after this all clears up. After his win over Cormier he said he still has a lot to prove in the sport. He's been a competitor his whole life and I doubt he'll be able to ignore that drive to fight once he sees someone else parading around with his belt.
This exposure will probably make him more popular than ever. His come back fight(there will be one) will be big.

I think this is just his managers attempt to reset the debate. Instead of everyone talking about Bones going to court now they will talk about MMA losing him. It's a much more favourable discussion for Bones.
