My favorite audio books I ever listened to was The Thrawn Trilogy. Sound effects, tone, it has it all. Best of the Best if you like star wars stuff.
I really liked that too. Not as long, but the Darth Bane trilogy is great too.

I'm about 1/2 through book 5

Stopping to knock out book 5 of the Bobiverse then I'll resume. Hopefully I finish before the next Dungeon Crawler Carl book in February
I have friends who enjoyed it, and I hope you do, too. With that said, I didn't

Maybe it was not for me, or maybe Malazan has ruined fantasy for me because ever since reading Malazan, I no longer like rereads of stuff/authors I used to love

For what its worth tho, I reread stormlight 1-4 ahead of wind and truth, and books 1 and 2 are still brilliant. Enjoyed 3 and 4 still too.

I’ve only got 51 hours left to listen. It’s crazy that at the beginning of the book, he said that it’s halfway through the series. What a storyline! I listened to the Mistborn arcs too.
Mistborn era 1 is brilliant. Although 4,5, and 6 were decent, I felt the same way about the lost metal as I did about wind and truth. Final books were letdown

Mistborn era 1 (and secret history) are great tho. Especially considering they are YA, which is generally unreadable. (I bought my niece era 1 last month)

Audio books are the reason I'm so smart but can barely read or right.
Considering how 2024 was a light year for me because I got addicted to chess and played about 15,000 games when I would have normally been audiobooking, I still clocked enough hours to be classified as a deranged human

December 6th was my longest stretch due to wind and truth. Listened to it every waking minute for 2 or 3 days until I was dunzo
