Are those my only two choices?
Well, you mentioned black vs white, so I'm interested in that answer.

If you have another preferred option, I'd be interested in hearing that as well, along with the reasons why.

If you had a choice, would you want your kids to be black or white in America?
The question frames the situation according to an assumption which may or may not be true. Why not offer rich or poor?

DEFINITELY Asian, preferably Japanese'ish.
They get the shit end of the stick on chicks, and they tend to have good work ethic and honor their elders, so they'll work hard all their life.
And they won't get caught in America's White vs. Black bullshit.

Hardness is much more important than size.

Because we're talking about black and white privilege, not poor or rich privilege.

Speaking of which.... sparkuri @sparkuri, fancy answering the other question?

I'd say if it's a girl, black, because I don't want to worry about her getting fucked by a black guy.

Fair enough, I'm doubtful that's where the privilege demarker lies.... I'm not going to get into it cause it's all a bit goofy but wouldn't most people just choose their kids to have the same skin colour as they do?

Of course.
The notion of privilege bickering in the most privileged country in the history of mankind is laughable if it wasn't so damaging to the country.
Affirmative action, white guilt, brainwashed cucks who buy into this shit, the globalist puppeteers of EVERY race/color/creed conducting these divisive social experiments are destroying the natural fabric of community, & it's no mistake.

I wish I could disagree with you.
But the basic complaint seems to be there are too many white people in predominantly white countries- what's "their" solution to that?
....and how the hell did that ever gain traction???

I didn't.

I don't see colour.

well your wife had at least something to do with that, it's not like it was a one-man operation. :D

Your question, that you had posed to sparkuri @sparkuri, reminds me of how Muhmmad Ali responded to something similar at 2:15 of the video.

Colour blindness can be a serious handicap you shouldn’t make fun. What if Leigh @Leigh wanted to be a fighter pilot or a cop? He can never do that now. You shouldn’t make fun.

Reported to Leigh @Leigh
You got me there. You're too tall to be a fighter pilot though. Leighton is like the tiger mom of mma.

Most people do.
Maybe but mixed race children are much more common today than in the past. My wife and I knew our kids wouldn't have the same skin colour as either of us and it wasn't an issue.

The notion that yourself, @blank and sparkuri @sparkuri have put forward that parents want kids to have the same skin colour as themselves is changing.

I also agree that bickering about privilege is dumb and again, I think it's wrong to condemn people based on their privilege.

By what metric can you demonstrate that privilege exists?
That's a good question. It does seem pretty qualitative.

Things like incarceration rates for the same crime/history, employment rates among equally qualified applicants etc would provide some metrics in those fields but who determines which fields are more important than others?

Things like racist comments are probably not quantified. Disciplined Galt @Galt already posted that most people see colour and that's probably true. If you see colour, you're making a judgement because it isn't real.

Interestingly, the OP was about a lefty getting mad because another politician didn't want to see colour.

Similarly, would those metrics be showing causation or correlation?

Incarceration is a good example. Is black incarceration high in America specifically because "the system is rigged", or is it because people from lower income backgrounds can't afford quality legal representation?
