The question frames the situation according to an assumption which may or may not be true. Why not offer rich or poor?

Maybe but mixed race children are much more common today than in the past. My wife and I knew our kids wouldn't have the same skin colour as either of us and it wasn't an issue.

That's a good question. It does seem pretty qualitative.
Things like incarceration rates for the same crime/history, employment rates among equally qualified applicants etc would provide some metrics in those fields but who determines which fields are more important than others?
Things like racist comments are probably not quantified.
@Galt already posted that most people see colour and that's probably true. If you see colour, you're making a judgement because it isn't real.Interestingly, the OP was about a lefty getting mad because another politician didn't want to see colour.
Similarly, would those metrics be showing causation or correlation?
Incarceration is a good example. Is black incarceration high in America specifically because "the system is rigged", or is it because people from lower income backgrounds can't afford quality legal representation?
