I was critical of Clinton before the election. Don't know why I would change afterwards. Anyone who deserves criticism should receive it. In this case Trump and the Republicans deserve a lot. I'd be ashamed if I voted for him and this is what they are doing.
So if you were a us citizen and you had to choose between the two...which one would you have voted for? Would you have abstained?

For me, I'm a registered independent and have been since I was 18...moved last year and had an opportunity to choose a different affiliation when I had to register in my new County. My Trump vote was as much to keep Clinton out as it was in support of Trump.

I am aware of that, and we'll let you know when we care what your glorious Germany thinks of our politics. Until we do, pipe down sunshine...me and Zeph @Zeph were having a nice discussion.
You are out of luck then, coz I'll show solidarity with my peers whenever I want.

Your government has already proven they care a lot, as they should.

Shucks! I was hoping those couple sentences were enough to quiet you down. I'm going to fall back and regroup on my game plan going forth.

Obama Warned Trump Against Hiring Mike Flynn, Say Officials
Former President Obama warned President Donald Trump against hiring Mike Flynn as his national security adviser, three former Obama administration officials tell NBC News.

The warning, which has not been previously reported, came less than 48 hours after the November election when the two sat down for a 90-minute conversation in the Oval Office.

A senior Trump administration official acknowledged Monday that Obama raised the issue of Flynn, saying the former president made clear he was "not a fan of Michael Flynn."

I'm fairly conservative when it comes to taxpayers money. I find this indefensible.

Donald Trump’s campaign removes ‘preventing Muslim immigration’ statement from website
U.S. President Donald Trump’s campaign website removed a controversial 2015 press release, which called for a “total and complete shutdown” of Muslims entering the U.S., shortly after White House press secretary was questioned about its existence.

During his daily White House press briefing Monday, Sean Spicer was questioned about Trump’s use of language on his campaign website, the same day the president’s revised travel ban was headed to a federal appeals court.

“If this White House is no longer calling this a ‘Muslim ban’ as the president did initially, why does the president’s website still explicitly call for ‘preventing Muslim immigration?’” ABC News reporter Cecilia Vega asked the press secretary.

“I’m not aware of what’s on the campaign website, you would have to ask them,” Spicer responded. “I know how we’ve talked about this from the first day of this administration as a travel ban that’s in this country’s national security interest to make sure that the people who are coming in here are coming in here with the right motives and reasons and that we’re having a public safety aspect to making sure that we’re protecting our people.

“We’ve been very consistent since the first day of this administration,” Spicer said.

The 4th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals is hearing the Trump`s administration`s challenge of a lower court decision to block the revised 90-day ban on travel from six Muslim-majority countries.

On Dec. 7, 2015, Trump issued a statement “calling for a total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States until our country’s representatives can figure out what is going on.”

As Vega pointed out on social media, Trump’s statement was scrubbed from the website at some point Monday afternoon.

White House advisors called Ottawa to urge Trudeau to help talk Trump down from scrapping NAFTA
White House staff called the Prime Minister’s Office last month to urge Justin Trudeau to persuade President Donald Trump not to tear up the North American Free Trade Agreement, according to multiple Canadian government sources.

The unconventional diplomatic manoeuvre — approaching the head of a foreign government to influence your own boss — proved decisive, as Trump thereafter abandoned his threat to pull out of NAFTA unilaterally, citing the arguments made by Trudeau and Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto as pivotal.

But the incident highlights the difficulties faced by governments all over the world when it comes to dealing with a president as volatile as Trump.

On Wednesday, April 26, the Washington Post, Politico, CNN and the New York Times published stories saying that sources within the White House were considering a draft executive order to cancel NAFTA. The rumour knocked almost two per cent off the Mexican peso and a third of a cent off the loonie.

Media reports in Washington suggested a debate was underway within the White House about how aggressively to move on the reshaping of NAFTA, with hardliners pushing Trump to withdraw unilaterally before his 100th day in office. According to Politico, Peter Navarro, the head of Trump’s National Trade Council, and White House chief strategist Stephen Bannon drafted an executive order that, if signed, would have triggered the withdrawal process. It was unclear according to those reports whether the draft order was prepared as a negotiating tactic or in the hopes Trump might actually move forward with it.

The President was said to be persuaded by the argument to kill what he has repeatedly called the “worst trade deal ever,” despite concerns about the economic disruption that might result.

According to Canadian government sources, White House advisers pushing a more cautious approach then called Ottawa to ask for Trudeau’s assistance.

“You never know how much of it is theatre, but it didn’t feel that way,” said one senior Canadian diplomatic source, who spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to speak publicly about the matter. “Maybe they’re just learning how to be a government. At least they were open to the conversation, and that stopped them doing something rash and destructive.”

President Trump Deletes Every Old Press Release, But The Internet Never Forgets
Yesterday, journalists discovered that the Trump regime had deleted the president’s infamous press release from 2015 that called for a ban on all Muslims traveling to the United States. But it wasn’t just the Muslim ban. Every single press release from before January 1, 2017 has been erased from donaldjtrump.com. Thankfully, the internet never forgets.

As Russ Kick from the website Memory Hole notes, every Trump/Pence 2016 campaign press release that was deleted this week has been backed up by the Internet Archive’s Wayback Machine. It’s almost impossible to completely erase something from the internet these days—for better and for worse.

While President Donald Trump's decision to fire the FBI director, James Comey, came as a shock for many, reports now say even a person said to be an architect of the dismissal was surprised with the way the firing was presented to the news media.

Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, who had written a three-page memorandum detailing the reasons behind his recommendation for Comey's dismissal, was painted by the White House as the main arbiter of the decision.

Trump had said he acted based on the recommendations of Rosenstein and Attorney General Jeff Sessions.

But as Rosenstein was thrust into the spotlight shortly after news of Comey's dismissal broke, he was taken aback and even threatened to resign, according to an unnamed person close to the White House who was cited by The Washington Post.
Trump's deputy attorney general reportedly threatened to resign after being painted as the mastermind behind Comey's firing
