Liberal ‘GamerGate’ feminist arrested for possessing CHILD PORN

A liberal guy who fought in the very odd “GamerGate” controversy on the side of the feminists has just been arrested for possessing child pornography in Pennsylvania.

The Daily Caller identified him:

A former moderator on one of the internet’s most prominent gaming forums, NeoGAF, has been arrested on charges of possessing child pornography.

Thirty-two-year-old Christopher John Goldberg, who went by the name “Amir0x” on social media, was a male feminist who often took to Twitter to express his hatred at “sexists” and Trump supporters, in vocal support of the Women’s March. He was active during the GamerGate debacle that took the gaming world by storm in 2014, taking the side of feminists.

The Tobyhanna, Penn. man was charged this Wednesday with 64 counts of child porn possession and one count of criminally using a computer to download the illicit materials. Goldberg told police that he believed the pictures were not illegal if they didn’t depict sexual acts, but the police didn’t buy his excuse and issued the charges against him.

Trump Supporters Tried To Argue With The Declaration Of Independence On Twitter
To celebrate the Fourth of July — also known as Independence Day and America's 241st birthday — NPR decided to tweet the Declaration of Independence line by line. It all started with this tweet at 3pm:

View: https://twitter.com/NPR/status/882313133863436288

Perhaps unsurprisingly, some Twitter users found the Declaration of Independence — a literally revolutionary document — a bit... extreme.

Some people took the opportunity to support the deeds of their own political heroes:

And attack those they oppose:

Some, well, some were just very confused:

Also somehow this one guy got in the mix giving a shoutout to his Delta Airlines flight attendant:

But our favorite moment from the whole mess was from Twitter user @JustEsrafel who came in hot:

The good thing about our guy D.G. here is he realized his mistake and apologized.

He also didn't delete any of his old tweets to cover up his mistake, which is why his are some of the only actual tweets still up while the rest are mainly screenshots of tweets that were later deleted.

Historian Kevin Kruse pointed out that this isn't the first time in relatively recent American history the Declaration of Independence has seemed offensively inflammatory to some of our most "patriotic" countrymen. Kruse cited an example from McCarthy-era Wisconsin:

Today we are in the west, and we have to say, there are dire threats to our security and to our way of life [...] We will confront them, we will win.

We are confronted by another oppressive ideology, one that seeks to export terrorism and extremism all around the globe.

We are fighting hard against radical islamic terrorism and we will prevail.

Today the west is also confronted by the powers that seek to test our will, undermine our confidence, and challenge our interests.

We urge Russia [...] to join the community of responsible nations in our fight against common enemies and in defense of civilization itself.

Our adversaries are doomed because we will never forget who we are, and if we don't forget who we are, we just can't be beaten.

There is nothing like our community of nations. The world has never known anything like our community of nations. We write sinfonies, we pursue innovations, we celebrate our ancient heroes, embrace our timeless traditions and customs, and always seek to explore and discover brand new frontiers.

We will never back down.

As long as we know our history, we will know how to build our future.

The fundamental question of our times is whether the west has the will to survive. Do we have the confidence on our values to defend them at any cost. Do we have the desire and the courage to preserve our civilization in the face of those who will subvert it and destroy it.

We can have the largest economies and the most lethal weapons anywhere on earth, but if we do not have strong families and strong values, then we will be weak and we will not survive.

Trump Says Obama Did Nothing About Election Hacking To Give Clinton Advantage: In a news conference with Poland's president, President Trump made controversial statements about Russia's interference in US elections. First, Trump suggested that President Obama dragged his feet in responding to intelligence about election interference because he believed that it would advantage Hillary Clinton. Trump also squirmed when pressed for a definitive statement on his belief that interference was in fact conducted by Russia, saying "I think it very well could be Russia but I think it could very well have been other countries."

Trump's Voter Fraud Commission May Have Violated Law: President Trump's Voter Fraud Commission, which requested voter information from all 50 states last week, may have violated the law. Critics say that the commission did not submit its requests through the Office of Management and Budget’s Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs (OIRA) — a requirement that was established in 1980. The failure potentially allows states to ignore the commission's request.

President Trump Claimed the Stock Market Has Added $4 Trillion in Value Since His Election. It Hasn’t
President Donald Trump has voiced pride over the stock market gains in the United States, but his math for those gains is quite a bit off.

In a speech he gave to the Three Seas Initiative in Warsaw, Poland—a group of countries committed to improving economic ties between the United States and ex-Communist countries—Trump pointed to the stock market when explaining that the U.S. is doing "very well—very strong." He said: "We've taken off restrictions and people are really moving hard. So when I say that the stock market is at an all-time high, we've picked up in market value almost $4 trillion since November 8th, which was the election. $4 trillion—it's a lot of money."

While the stock market has hit multiple new highs since November, thanks in part to a "Trump Bump" stemming from the president's promise to lower corporate taxes and roll back regulations, it's not as high as Trump may think. His speech suggests the market value for the S&P 500 is now about $22.4 billion, up roughly 22% since the elections. But in reality, the S&P 500 has gained roughly $2.4 trillion in that time period, an increase of 13% in market cap to reach $20.8 trillion, said Howard Silverblatt, a veteran market watcher over at S&P Dow Jones Indices.

It's not a poor performance, but it is certainly less than the president's $4 trillion figure.
