How familiar, Trump over exaggerating a story he 'leaked' to the press.
the story was probably a plant by Russian bots
Looking into Trump's business with Russia before the campaign is the big thing. Trump went bankrupt, as everyone knows, but it's been widely speculated that it was Russian banks which bought up that debt and turned things around. Since then he has been a conduit for dodgy Russian money into the U.S. real estate market, likely either laundering mob or oligarch money away from the Russian state. Whether that is illegal in the U.S. I don't know.
Yeah Russia isn't my biggest concern. The internal shuffling is more an indicator that people are sensing he's a soft candidate for 2020. To me, Russia hysteria is obfuscating that fact, but still we lack a compelling alternative. I'd prefer if media let Mueller do his thing and have America deal with the fallout when it comes. I really fear the consequences of so much sabre rattling.
The Russia thing is definitely overblown, but out of those 3 stories that Mueller is looking into his business practices is a bigger story than the latest infighting within the inner circle, in my opinion. There's been jockeying around his white house since the beginning and this is just the latest round of fighting between Javanka and the new Chief of Staff. If it comes to it Trump can just give Jared his security clearance since Trump is the ultimate authority.
