Trump booed during military ceremony at Portland soccer game
Fans at a Portland Thorns soccer game this week appeared to boo President Trump as Armed Forces enlistees pledged to obey his orders as part of a swearing-in ceremony that took place during halftime.

The Oregonian newspaper first reported on the crowd's reaction, sharing video from Wednesday's game in which fans could be heard groaning and booing as enlistees were asked to “obey the orders of the President of the United States.”

The National Women's Soccer League game was scheduled to include the ceremony to mark the anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, according to Oregon Live.
At the conclusion of the swearing-in, the crowd switched to cheering the new Armed Forces members. The boos appeared to only take place when the president was mentioned.

GOP Trump challengers slam canceled primaries: 'Only the weak fear competition'
All three Republican primary challengers lambasted state GOP leaders -- and President Donald Trump -- for opting to cancel their 2020 presidential primary elections in a show of support for the President.

"In the United States, citizens choose their leaders," former Rep. Mark Sanford of South Carolina, former Rep. Joe Walsh of Illinois and former Massachusetts Gov. Bill Weld said in a Washington Post op-ed on Friday.

"The primary nomination process is the only opportunity for Republicans to have a voice in deciding who will represent our party," they added. "Let those voices be heard."

Taliban delegation visits Russia after Trump says talks 'dead'
Taliban representatives have held discussions with Russian officials in Moscow, just days after US President Donald Trump declared months-long peace talks between Washington and the group "dead".

Taliban's Qatar-based spokesman Suhail Shaheen confirmed the meeting in the Russian capital on Friday, saying the group's delegation held consultations with Zamir Kabulov, Russia's special envoy for Afghanistan.

At the meeting, Russia stressed the necessity of the resumption of talks between the US and the Taliban, while the group's delegation reiterated their readiness to renewing dialogue with Washington, an unidentified Russian foreign ministry spokesman was quoted as saying by the TASS news agency.

Peace talks between the United States and the Taliban began last October in Qatar, with the aim of ending the 18-year-old war in Afghanistan. After nine rounds of negotiations in Doha, US envoy Zalmay Khalilzad said earlier this month a peace agreement was finalised "in principle".

But on Sunday, Trump said he had cancelled secret meetings at the Camp David presidential retreat with Afghan President Ashraf Ghani and Taliban leaders, following a car bomb attack in Afghanistan's capital, Kabul.

"They are dead. They are dead. As far as I'm concerned, they are dead," Trump said of the peace talks.

Shaheen, the Taliban spokesman, said Trump's move came as a surprise to the group as the peace negotiations had concluded "successfully" and a deal was to be announced soon.

"It was astonishing for us because we had already concluded the peace agreement with the American negotiating team," Shaheen told Al Jazeera.

He added that the group wanted Qatar to announce the agreement before attending any meeting at Camp David.

Since talks began, discussions focused on four key issues: A Taliban guarantee that it will not allow foreign armed groups and fighters to use Afghanistan as a launchpad to conduct attacks outside the country; the complete withdrawal of US and NATO forces; an intra-Afghan dialogue; and a permanent ceasefire.

The Taliban are at their strongest since their removal in 2001 by a US-led invasion after the 9/11 attacks and hold over more than half the country, staging near-daily attacks across Afghanistan.

The Taliban defended carrying out a Monday suicide attack in the Afghan capital of Kabul amid ongoing peace talks with the U.S., saying the move put them in a “strong position” to negotiate

Taliban grand stands and then is surprised the deal died.

Taliban defends Kabul suicide attack: We enter peace talks with US 'from a strong position'

The bomber detonated an explosive-packed tractor shortly after Afghanistan-born U.S. envoy Zalmay Khalilzad said he had reached a tentative agreement to withdraw 5,000 U.S. troops from five bases in Afghanistan within 135 days of a final deal.

The attack has renewed suspicions among Afghan citizens and government officials that the Taliban will not adhere to any agreement once U.S. troops have left the country, according to the AP.
They tied their actions to the negotiation. Turns out that was a bad move.

Bin Laden's son Hamza was killed in counterterrorism operation, President Trump confirms

President Trump has confirmed that Hamza bin Laden, the son of former Al Qaeda leader and 9/11 mastermind Usama bin Laden, has been killed.

In a statement released by the White House on Saturday morning, three days after the 18th anniversary of the September 11 terror attacks, President Trump said Hamza, a high-ranking Al Qaeda member, "was killed in a United States counterterrorism operation in the Afghanistan/Pakistan region."

“The loss of Hamza bin Laden not only deprives Al Qaeda of important leadership skills and the symbolic connection to his father but undermines important operational activities of the group,” the statement continued. “Hamza bin Laden was responsible for planning and dealing with various terrorist groups.”

Discounting your blog is related to a study in Europe and which is focused on a different type of right wing definition and not a political party, .........
Even in Europe, mister smarty-pants, the following still applies to "right wing" affiliation.

People who have a right-wing authoritarian disposition are are especially willing to subject themselves to authority figures (political leaders, police, religious leaders) and have hostility towards those who are outside of their in-groups.

This type of person is attracted to authoritarian leaders like Donald Trump.
you may want to consider the quality of your reading topics when the same blog in the next breath posts the following:
Surely you're not insinuating that Europeans, the architects of modern-day colonialism, are incapable of harboring such racist sentiments? I may have to refresh you on much of the anti-immigrant sentiments partly behind Brexit and the recent rise of European right wing-ism:

Nationalism has always been a feature across Europe's political spectrum but there has been a recent boom in voter support for right-wing and populist parties..................

.....In part, this can be seen as a backlash against the political establishment, but the wave of discontent also taps into concerns about globalisation, immigration, a dilution of national identity and the EU itself.

It doesn't say Republican party, despite the title. It matters.

But again just side step that you linked me to a blog stating Participants who scored high on cognitive and emotional tests are also more likely to agree with statements such as, "the white race is superior to all other races."
