critical thinking is a dying skill. We used to think lack of access to information was the problem, LoL.I know where your coming from and I agree the creation of some “far-left” bogeyman who wants to control how much water is coming out of your taps is an effective way of giving the illusion that voting for Trump in some way conveys a rugged American belief in “Freedom”, but clearly a smarter and more eloquent man would be a much better ability to deliver this message. I don’t believe that the general American public is so misinformed and unable to think critically that they find this rhetoric swaying or believable.
I remember in "MLM/writing copy" world, you want to appear to be dumber than the target audience. I think that's what is happening with the POTUS. He wants to appear uneducated and inept, but he's so inept that he actually overshoots.
