Of course they aren't, but at the time the Dems were war-hawking about Russia and how we had to teach Putin a lesson. Trump was the one talking about solving disagreements through discourse.
Obviously the tide has changed a bit. I'm OK with the strike as he wasn't a good dude, but I'm also not so naive to think this wasn't a political move to sway or strengthen public opinion as we head into an election year.

Hey, I had never actually watched his tv show but I understood he was a game show host. And, you know, the idea of having a game show host as US president really cauight my fancy for a time.
I let my imagination run wild, envisioning the sort of administration a great game show host like say, Wink Martindale might run.
People had nothing to go on. He was about having discussions. Hillary was about bombing the fuck out of people - or at the very least sending us into another Cold War.
As always, things change.

Hillary meant certain war in the ME. We've all seen her laughing about what her and Obama did in Libya;.She was the worst mainstream presidential candidate in my lifetime and I'm a senior citizen. The Democrats ran what was literally the worst possible candidate against Trump.
