I would point out that a group intended to highlight a specific issue doesn't necessarily have to take on other issues. They have enough of a hill to climb.

There is a funny iron to it that people are kind of missing though. The Russian plan on Trump wreaking havoc was contingent on there being a large scale rejection of him.
As a guy who grew up in the seventies, I was appalled after Trump was elected and his minions fell in love with everything Russia. It was especially disturbing because it was clear Russia was working against our National interests and actively trying to undermine our democracy. I personally don't in the least bit buy the "not State directed, private uncontrollable hackers" explanation.
They are at it constantly. The methods have changed but the bottom line is to destabilise a country.
The most recent example over here was the final of the Euros. Three black footballers were bombarded with race hate on twatter, instagram etc. The nation erupted, every headline was bad worldwide it probably means we won't get to host the WC in 2030. But when the source of these posts were tracked using sophisticated tracking software 70% originated in Russia. That still 30% of cunts here but we knew that.
They are currently being caught in trying to whisper in the ears of young Scottish people and why they should vote yes to independence if they get the chance to.
The speed it happens at means it's unstoppable.
They did it with Brexit and the US elections.
As I mentioned earlier, this isn't new. In 2018 the world learned of the Russian troll farms.
The Fancy Bears have been around a lot longer than 2018.
The troll farms even more so.
As I should have mentioned earlier in the thread, as with all threads so far, I'm awesome.
