He's neither ignorant or dishonest. Like many of us his issue with the establishment as a whole.
And like many of you, he is apparently absolutely unable to grasp that just because both sides are shit, that doesn't make them exactly the same and it doesn't mean that one is not FAR more radicalised and dangerous than the other.

In Leaked Video, GOP Congressman Admits His Party Wants 'Chaos and Inability to Get Stuff Done'
Newly leaked video footage of a recent event hosted by the right-wing group Patriot Voices shows Republican Rep. Chip Roy of Texas openly admitting that his party wants "18 more months of chaos and the inability to get stuff done" as President Joe Biden, a bipartisan group of senators, and congressional Democrats work to pass climate and infrastructure legislation.

"Honestly, right now, for the next 18 months, our job is to do everything we can to slow all of that down to get to December of 2022," Roy says in the clip, referring to the month after that year's midterm elections. Republicans need to flip just a handful of seats to take back the House and Senate.

"I don't vote for anything in the House of Representatives right now," Roy says in response to an audience member's question about the sweeping infrastructure and safety-net package that Democrats are planning to pass unilaterally alongside a White House-backed bipartisan deal.

In the video that emerged Tuesday, the Texas Republican dismisses the Democratic reconciliation package—which progressives hope will include at least $6 trillion in spending on climate programs, Medicare expansion, and other priorities left out of the bipartisan plan—as "liberal garbage."

You're the only person who says anyone thinks they're the same.

Oh fuck off.
I'm paying plenty of attention. Are you? You should be more concerned with what the current administration is/isn't doing - not the orange dude who is no longer calling the shots.
I have made a lot of criticisms of Biden, Harris, Pelosi and the Dems in general. I've said flat out several times that I thought Biden should never have run in he first place (and neither should Bernie) since 80 is FAR too old for a US President, let alone a first termer.

They are nowhere near as bad as the GOP, which now has a majority of its voters convinced that Biden is not the legitimately elected President.

That is the default, mainstream Republican position. They live in fantasyland. And they are deadset intent on destroying American democracy because of these authoritarian fantasies.

A majority?
That is demonstrably false.

Save for a couple redneck idiots, they've moved on.

They've entered Phase 2: Bitch about everything he does. That's American Politics 101.

No worse than all the democrats saying to burn the system to the ground if they don’t get their way. This isn’t done privately either. They’re out in the open, radicalizing their base.

Oh yeah, it's "demonstrably false", but no need to back that with anything, your word is enough. Clearly, the Republican Party and its voters have accepted that Biden is the legitimately elected lawful President.

Demonstrate that it's false and that a majority of Republican voters accept that Biden is the lawfully elected President, no fraud, no steal.

Why don't you demonstrate that it's true since you were the maroon who said it?

Of course we agree. But if the dems want anything done about the guy calling for chaos, it would be a good idea to hold their party members, doing the same thing, to account. If not, then it appears to be partisan selective outrage and are not serious about being upset about these statements. I say clear the lot of em, including the republican in question.

Because he's dumber than most because he's openly saying what we all know to be true or because that's what he wants in general?

Because that's the same GOP platform that McConnell is openly stating.
Yes. We all know that's the M.O. of politics anymore, but to openly state something like that is idiotic.

McConnell should have been removed a Looooooong time ago.

A majority of Republicans still believe Donald Trump won the 2020 US presidential election and blame his loss to Joe Biden on baseless claims of illegal voting, according to a new Reuters/Ipsos opinion poll.
The 17-19 May national poll found that 53% of Republicans believe Trump, their party’s nominee, is the “true president” now, compared with 3% of Democrats and 25% of all Americans.

Well let's be real - the second that any reality conflicts with your stupid feelings....... then it's stupid gif time, then you'll parachute out of the thread rather than honestly address that you were just babbling stupid shit....... then in a couple of days you'll return and chant the exact same stupid shit, having learned exactly nothing.

That's what'll happen. Prove me wrong. But, you won't.
