You think solar is/was the was to go right, save a little money.... while in the beginning we were told states cities/towns exempt residential solar panels from property taxes, letting you boost the value of your home while keeping the same tax base, or limiting its increase
Times area changin' states/towns/cities are now beginning to add $1000. per solar panel you have installed on your house/property to your property tax

It's hard to tax the sun.

Just wait until more and more EVs get on the road. My assumption is we'll be paying a per-mile-driven tax. Hopefully it doesn't get so convoluted that we have to track mileage by state like the bigger trucks need to now, but it wouldn't shock me.

They take 1/3 of everything Americans make and they piss it all away. And they wonder why we're fucking irritated with them?

I'd agree about "doing time", except that the lies & treason has shaped policy.
They should all be hung for treason, but not *just* hung.
They should be injected with mrna, the real stuff on live TV.
The fear they caused others should be seen by the world.
Then hung from the St. Louis peace arch.

politicians and police are supposed to be held to higher standards, in turn when they violate or abuse those standards and their position they should be punished to a greater extent than a common citizen

Hard to comment on residential PV as rules change per local.

As a system operator I’m not a fan of PV or wind for several reasons I’ve listed here in the past. I have my own ideas of what a successful transition away from a dominant fossil fuel fleet would look like & it’s nothing like what’s being pushed, likely to failure & higher rates(that were already seeing as CA rates are up 80% since 2010).
