It's a mixed bag to be honest. Lots of good soldier dems like lincoln project/midas touch types defend all dems to the death. On the right you have a good amount of never trumpers who are pretty much allies of those dems at this point.

The game changer is the media who is lock-step with the dems and so it's not even close who carries more weight and it's only getting worse...

I think the majority of Dems don't agree with most of what the MSM "reports". The media on both sides has their agenda and push it making both sides think that it the mouthpiece of the people. Certainly some will back their "side" no matter what but most people I personally know disagree with how their representatives behave.
Unfortunately the media and "representatives" no longer represent most people and just try to get each "side" fighting to keep power in a shitty two party system.
